As your trusted life safety and security provider, we want to reach out to you to give an update from the Radius Team.
Firstly, we are open for business and protecting your site. Our team is working tirelessly keeping up with our customer requests and ongoing business adjustments to ensure we keep your livelihood, assets and people – safe and secured. To that end, we have increased our already stringent hygiene and sanitization policy in our Command Center and have made arrangements for remote computer access and other communication needs so in the case of a government no-movement order, we can continue protecting your site with no service interruption. We are here for you and your business.
We are receiving many requests for expanded armed hours as businesses are reducing operational hours or temporarily closing their site or operation. Radius has developed plans to increase our staff and resources in the Command Centre to accommodate expanded armed hours for our customers. As of today, Radius will be offering expanded security coverage up to 24/7; at this time, we will waive the additional costs to our customers.
If your business is considering expanded hours, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-877-632-2407. Please allow at least 2 business days to make this change as additional site details, protocols, operational hours and any relevant contact information is updated accordingly into our system.
MOBILE Guard dispatch to respond to open fences, workers on site and other non-crime related site activities will continue to be dispatched by Radius Security as per normal. However, due to the increased demand in our Command Center and on administrative staff - at this time, if for any reason a STATIC guard service is requested for additional security for your site, Radius Security will not be able to facilitate the arrangement and invoicing of Static Guards. We are seeing a higher demand for guard service, should you want to arrange for such service, do so as soon as possible. We have included a guard service list attached to this email.
Please continue to remind your staff to contact our Command Center at email@example.com or 1-877-632-2407 before accessing an armed site OR adding a Static Guard so we can have their contact information.

Dear Valued Clients,
As your dedicated Life Safety and Security provider, the first priority of Vancouver Fire, Radius Security, and National Fire Safety Planners is and has always been ensuring the safety and security of your people and property as well as our people. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across North America and worldwide, we wanted to provide you with information regarding our response to help mitigate risks and do our part to prevent the spread of the virus.
As new information continues to be discovered and the situation changes continually, we are diligently staying updated and ensuring measures are in place to protect the life safety and security of both our team and our customers. We are following the recommendations of credible sources such as Health Canada, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local health authorities.
Within our company, we have been actively communicating updates and sharing guidance with our teammates, so they are fully informed on how to protect themselves, their families, their colleagues and our clients against transmission of the virus. We continue to promote healthy habits including increased and prolonged handwashing, respiratory etiquette, social distancing, discouragement from sharing office equipment, and aggressive disinfectant habits.
Our Fire Service and Security technicians have been advised to check in with your site contact to understand the protocol at your building. Additionally, in residential buildings, our technicians will not be conducting in-suite inspections until after March 27th, 2020. These will be scheduled for a future date and we will keep you updated. As your provider, we want to ensure the life safety and security systems of your building are in optimal working order to continually protect its occupants and the building itself. Our technicians have minimal occupational contact with the public and with coworkers.
Radius Security’s Monitoring Station has always maintained a very clean and sanitized environment and we follow an extremely regimented protocol to sanitize workstations to ensure our team members are healthy. We have also developed and documented a protocol to ensure our Monitoring Station team members can work remotely if that need is required.
For our team members in general, we are working closely to ensure team members are aware of and actively scanning for virus symptoms in themselves, their families and those they come into contact with, communicating with management and quarantining when as guided by medical professionals.
